Some HD texture packs require using Optifine and most recommend using a shader pack for ultimate beautification. These are the most realistic Minecraft texture packs around. If you want exceptionally-detailed textures for your 3D block worlds, some creators have made texture packs with resolutions of 512 pixels (or more).
